Gold Volcano offers 4 special features, as published by Play'n GO:

Dormant

This feature is triggered randomly when the base game is non-winning. However, don’t get too relaxed – this is just the calm before the storm… 1 of 3 effects will be performed, and the effects can be played once per spin, in any order, with a total limit of 3 effects per spin.

Pressure

When winning symbols are removed, there is a chance that the pressure will build up beyond normal levels, and this feature will trigger. A Wild symbol is created at random in an available empty space before the new symbols rise up. This Wild symbol will act as a substitute for all symbols except the Scatters. These Wild symbols can randomly be assigned a x2 multiplier, as well, providing you with a boost to that winning combination. When part of the same win, Wild symbols displaying a multiplier will multiply with one another.

Crystallisation

During the base game, Scatter symbols can be collected on each spin. Each Scatter that appears on the grid will add to the collection, and once three, six, and nine have been collected, the Crystallisation feature will trigger. The respective symbols will crystallize, turning into Gold – the most valuable symbol on the grid. This will reset at the end of each round, except when the Eruption feature occurs which will carry progress over.

Eruption

A dangerous occurrence, to be sure, but a huge eruption like this is going to bring with it the chance to find some great treasures… This feature occurs once six consecutive symbol cascades have taken place and will activate once no more cascades occur after those initial six. Five Free Spins will be awarded and are played on a larger 8x8 grid, with fiery lava rising and spewing from the Gold Volcano, bringing with it riches from below the Earth’s crust.
